A creative approach to in-camera multiple exposure

Seeing in Layers

This workshop focuses on creating images directly in camera through multiple exposure.
While the main focus is on multiple exposure, we’ll also touch other creative approaches to expand your way of seeing and building images.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

This workshop focuses on composition through in-camera multiple exposure. Instead of working with a single frame, the image is built by layering the shots directly in camera.

The workshop will not cover post-production, Photoshop, or AI tools: it will focus entirely on decisions made while shooting.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

You'll learn how to create compelling images using multiple exposure and other creative approaches.

You'll understand the 4 different exposure modes and how to use them effectively in every situation.

By working with composition and light, you’ll learn how different elements interact within the same frame, creating images that are constructed rather than simply captured.

You’ll also learn how to build an image step by step, and how to recognise common mistakes and avoid them.
